From the Meredith Group, who also own The Only Running Footman in Mayfair, comes The Portman, a fine, neighbourhood style bar and restaurant situated in the small and chic London enclave of Portman Village. A fitting addition to the stylish boutiques that call this part of the capital home, The Portman is the ideal after shopping stop off yet equally befits a special dining occasion. The Portman's pub area on the ground floor is a cosy choice for easy dining with an all-day menu encompassing sophisticated breakfasts and imaginatively presented pub grub classics. Upstairs, a more refined dining room decorated in light, vintage tones is home to a classy British menu, prepared using free range and organic ingredients.
