In a Grade II listed wharf warehouse in West India Quay this bar and restaurant from Drake & Morgan offers drinks and dining at the wood-clad bar and low-set coffee tables. Original features including dark timbers, flagstone flooring and structural steel beams remain, off set by candelabras and eye-catching artwork. Good for business breakfasts, laid back lunches and post-work cocktails, brunch is especially good with two hours of bottomless Bellinis, Brunch Martinis and Bloody Marys. Mains include choices of butternut squash risotto with mascarpone, or the classic beer battered haddock with chips. Sundays are for Sunday roasts. Choose from either rib of beef or free-range half chicken served with all the trimmings including crispy roasties, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Family friendly, The Sipping Room has a kids' menu with healthy starters like hummus, carrot sticks and flatbread and mains that include baby mac and cheese and sausage and mash.
