A Geronimo Inns pub in the City, The White Horse gives city workers a bright, airy space to eat, drink and relax and its pub garden has a lovely view across Exchange Square. Geronimo pubs have a happy knack of creating affordable, friendly pubs with good food in a bright, airy space. In this particular pub deep blue wall tiles and heavy wooden furniture are set off by white-washed walls, large windows and art deco prints. Open from breakfast through to lunch and dinner, early risers can book in a morning meeting over a City Breakfast - bacon, sausage, egg, baked beans, mushroom and hash brown - scrambled eggs on toast, eggs Benedict or eggs Florentine, with a cappuccino or espresso. The main menu has things like grilled pork chop with curly kale and rib eye steak with bone marrow shallot on it. But The White Horse Burger - a moist beef patty with crispy bacon, smoked cheddar, beer and bacon jam, sour cream guacamole and fries - is a must-try.
