A central London restaurant with an interesting concept, Ukai appeals to a varied crowd, especially to foodies looking for something new. Following on from the success of its sister restaurant in Portobello, Ukai is a Japanese restaurant which offers much more than your average sushi joint. Named after the traditional fishing practice of using cormorants to dive for fish, Ukai combines simple, unfussy modern d?cor with authentic Japanese cuisine. Offering a wide range of sushi - all fresh and perfectly prepared - this restaurant also offers delicious ramen and salads, all created using traditional Japanese methods of preparation. For Eastern food fans, Ukai is a must.
