Visitor Information
Oskar Pink hair salon was set up by founder Stavros Konstantinou, who spent ten years as a creative director at Tony & Guy, in the belief that there was a need for an alternative to the big brand salons. Judging by the addition of two further salons, he's been proved right. There's no such person as Oskar Pink, but the name is Konstantinou's way of poking fun at celebrity hairdressers who name their salons after themselves. Oskar Pink perfectly captures the camp stereotype of a flamboyant hairdresser. The original salon in Chalk Farm, a rustic looking sort of place, has been followed by further branches in north London, in Kentish Town and Mornington Crescent, each with their own distinct look.
