Well known in Australia, Damian Griffiths' Doughnut Time comes to London bringing t wo bespoke creations: Love Actually, a fragrant doughnut with an Earl Grey tea glaze and heart shaped jammie dodgers; and the retro Shawty It's Sherbert Day which indulges our love of childhood nostalgia. A fter humble hole-in-the-wall store beginnings in Brisbane back in 2015, the brand has opened 23 stores around Australia. Success comes from creating humorous and colourful baked treats referencing popular culture. Take the Slim Shady - a vanilla glaze with M&Ms - and Legally Blonde, a caramel glaze with macadamia blondie pieces. All doughnuts are fresh, handmade and gluten-free and vegan options are available on request. They plan to open a Doughnut Time Academy above the Shaftesbury Avenue store and we expect to see branches across London, in Old Street, Notting Hill and Shepherd's Bush.
