Founded by 25-year-olds Nikhil Adwalpalkar and James Wright, Fourth & Main - tagline 'Fine menswear & printed matter' - launched a pop-up shop (open until 23rd July 2012) on Newburgh Street and a website, FourthandMain.com, at the same time on 29th March 2012. Lamenting a lack of well-designed menswear at accessible prices, Adwalpalkar and Wright have launched the brand with a collection of unlined tailored linen jackets, chore coats, club-collar shirts, tailored shorts and chinos with side button fastening, lightweight knitwear and swimwear. Alongside the clothes comes a selection of 'printed matter' - they will publish a biannual arts journal - and Fourth & Main will also host exhibitions featuring emerging photographers and artists in the store just off Carnaby Street.
