Irish model Jasmine Guinness is affectionately known by her family as Jam so when she set up shop with lifelong friend Honey Bowdrey to sell delectable children's toys they easily landed on the perfect sticky-sounding name. Honeyjam came about because the two women couldn't find toys they wanted for their kids. When their favourite toyshop, Tiger Tiger on the Kings Road, shut down Honeyjam was born. Retro toys from the thirties through to the eighties sit alongside vintage toys as well as fair trade, sustainably made and eco-friendly play things. There's everything from educational toys to just plain silly things. The most popular buy in the shop is the toy Aga - which is hardly surprising given the proximity to Notting Hill - but kids will also love the gross jokes and rocking horses, while mums are more likely to be drawn to the pretty clothes and cute little fairy costumes.
