Made with organic and natural fibres, Natural Mat mattresses are designed to give children a good night's sleep, free from . Parents can rest well, too, safe in the knowledge that they've given their kids the best they can. The company came about when the current directors, Mark Tremlett and Peter Tindall, both keen sailors, became frustrated with the poor quality of synthetic mattresses found on boats. This explains why the company was founded in a boat yard in the quiet village of Topsham, Devon - where the mats are still made by hand. Since the company was set up in 2000 they've expanded from boats to cribs, cots and even single beds - covering all ages from day one to adulthood and all made with the environment in mind. The Notting Hill shop also stocks a range of organic blankets and bedding, sleeping bags for newborns, nursery furniture, baby clothing and gifts.
