What started as a leather goods company in the 1920s is now one of the most luxurious must-have designer labels. Leather is still a staple of the mega brand and, being of Italian descent, Gucci shoes are among the best in the world. With womenswear, menswear, bags, fragrances and a full range of accessories, from sunglasses to belts often stamped with the distinctive double G logo. There's even a pet range which includes a dog backpack, seriously - presumably because your pampered pooch needs somewhere to put his mobile phone. Despite this digression into the ridiculous, the clothes are top quality and come at designer prices - you won't find much in here for under £500, accessories aside, but it's great fun looking. This stretch of Sloane Street is home to a number of designer shops of this calibre so come here for the people watching as much as the luxe fashion shopping in this part of town.
