If you find the stores in Sloane Street and Bond Street a little overwhelming, Matches is a far more civilized way to get your hands on some designer clothes. Stocking labels like Prada, Chloe, Moschino and Dolce & Gabanna, Matches is a godsend for catwalk fashion queens. While the clothes are priced at the same level as in the flagship stores, here it's much easier to see the key pieces of the season and Ledbury Road is a far more attractive place to shop too. It's designer boutiques like this on Notting Hill's pretty tree lined streets that make the area a delight to discover. Stumble on Matches and you'll feel like you've discovered a find.
