The Women's Library was established in 1926, as the Library of the London Society for Women's Service, the successor of the London women's suffrage organisation led by Millicent Fawcett. Today its purpose is to document women's lives in Britain, serving as a record of women's history in the UK. There's a Reading Room where you can use reference books, archives and browse museum collections. There's also an exhibition hall as well as education and events facilities.
