London's second largest international airport (after Heathrow), Gatwick is located near the town of Crawley, West Sussex, 27 miles south of Central London. Gatwick has the world's busiest single-use runway and is Europe's leading airport for point-to-point flights. Previously owned by BAA, Gatwick was sold to GIP, the owners of London City Airport, for £1.51 billion in December 2009. The airport has two terminals - North and South - which are joined by shuttle train and bus services. Gatwick's railway station is located in the older and busier South Terminal. There are connections to London Victoria and London Bridge stations, as well as Brighton, Luton, Reading and Oxford. Customers travelling to or from Victoria station can take a quicker "Gatwick Express" train service, which runs every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes. Various bus companies operate coaches to Heathrow Airport and Stansted Airport, as well as cities and towns throughout the region and country.
