Adjacent to Chelsea Harbour, Imperial Wharf London Overground station connects this part of West London with Clapham Junction to the south east and to West Brompton, Kensington Olympia, Shepherd's Bush to the north and beyond. Opened on 27th September 2009, the £7.8 million station provides an important link for the Sands End area. If heading northwards towards Willesden Junction the Overground line ends at Stratford in East London. Change at Gospel Oak to pick up the Barking line. From 2011, Imperial Wharf will be served by four London Overground trains per hour.
