After great success at the likes of Dinerama and Wingfest, where it won the award for Best Wings in London, Thunderbird Fried Chicken has opened its first permanent location on Market Row in Brixton. Created by former racing car driver and 'Wing King' Matt Harris, who discovered his love of fried chicken during a trip to the Deep South, the restaurant serves firm favourites such as the Thunderbun and the award-winning Chipuffalo Wings along with veggie buns, Habanero Wings, and Buttermilk Caraway Slaw. Diners can tuck into the dishes against a backdrop of stripped back electric blue interiors framed by Thunderbird's iconic gold thunderbolts - a nod to Matt's racing days.
